This page is dedicated to helping you navigate refunds and disputes, offering clear steps to address any concerns. Whether you’re an influencer or a client, we provide solutions to ensure both parties can find common ground and achieve a positive outcome. Let’s work together to keep the groove going!

1 – Open Communication: The First Step in Resolving Disputes

At Influencer Groove, we believe most disputes can be resolved through clear, respectful communication. Often, disagreements arise from simple misunderstandings about expectations, deliverables, or timelines. That’s why we encourage influencers and clients to address issues directly with each other as a first step.

Here are some tips for effective dispute resolution:

Be Open to Compromise: Flexibility on both sides can often lead to a mutually satisfactory solution. Whether it’s revising content or adjusting terms, collaboration is key.

Stay Calm and Professional: Emotions can run high, but approaching the conversation with a level head and a focus on finding solutions can make all the difference.

Clarify the Issue: Ensure both parties fully understand what went wrong. Misaligned expectations or unclear briefs are common culprits.

Refer to the Agreement: Look back at the original campaign brief, deliverables, and timelines. This serves as the foundation for resolving any conflicts.

2 – When Should A Client Ask for A Refund?

At Influencer Groove, we recognize that challenges or creative differences can sometimes lead to the need for a refund. If a client and influencer are unable to reach a compromise, the client has the right to request a refund through Influencer Groove for review and resolution.

Here are some common scenarios where issuing a refund might be appropriate:

  1. Missed Deadlines: If the influencer was unable to meet the agreed timeline and the campaign’s timing was critical
  2. Incomplete Work: If the influencer delivered their work only partially.
  3. Poor Quality Work: for example, the influencer delivered a piece of content in low quality.
  4. Scope Misunderstandings: If there was a misalignment in the campaign brief.
  5. Technical Issues: If unforeseen technical problems prevent influencer fulfilling the campaign requirements, a refund ensures fairness and transparency.

Influencer Groove reserves the right to make an impartial decision on whether a refund will be issued, and if so, whether it will be full or partial, based on the specifics of the case.

However, please note that Influencer Groove’s platform fees from both the influencer and client sides are non-refundable. Influencer Groove’s service fee covers platform, transaction, and support costs, which are incurred regardless of the outcome—so it remains non-refundable even in the case of a refund between client and influencer.

3 – Filing a Dispute: How to Request a Refund

Here’s how the process works and what you need to know.

  1. Click on our DISPUTE FORM and let us know what the issue was.
  2. Provide a Clear Reason: Be specific about why you’re requesting a refund. Include details about what went wrong. This helps the Influencer Groove team evaluate your case effectively.

Once the dispute is filed, the Influencer Groove team will:

  1. Review the Case: We’ll analyze your reason, the evidence provided, and any communication between you and the influencer.
  2. Decide on the Refund: If your request is deemed reasonable, we’ll approve a full or partial refund, depending on the situation.
  3. Communicate the Outcome: Both you and the influencer will be notified of the resolution within 7 days, ensuring transparency and fairness.
  4. Once the refund is confirmed, the payment will be processed within the next 5 working days using the original payment method.

Important Notes

  • Clear communication with the influencer before filing a dispute can sometimes resolve misunderstandings without needing a refund.
  • Refunds will only be approved if your request is justified based on the campaign agreement and provided evidence.

At Influencer Groove, we are committed to ensuring a fair and professional environment for all users.
